Objectives:
1. Students will be able to determine the solubility of a substance according to the solubility rules.
2. Students will explore what factors affect solubility and why.

Warm-Up

Calculate the Molarity of a solution with the following data:

1. Solute Sodium Phosphide (99.94 g/mol)
2. Mass of Solute used = 25.0 g
3. Mass of Solution made = 165.3 g
4. Density of Solution = 1.47 g/mL

Metric Conversion Needed- (1mL = .001 L)

Daily Plan:

1st Half of Class
